Informed Consent
An “informed consent” refers to the understanding of the process, risks, benefits and other options related to a surgical procedure. It is important that you take time to review and study the consent form before signing it. Complete familiarity and comprehension is imperative. There will be time prior to your surgery to ask any remaining questions regarding your procedure. Know who will be responsible for your postoperative visits. Your long-term visits, meaning your 1, 3, 6, and 12 month visits, should be prearranged with your regular eye care professional or with our office. Remember, as with any surgical procedure it is impossible to guarantee results.
We offer different surgical procedures. Each one carries its own risks, benefits and alternatives. Please contact our office for more information.
